Key issues for food and drink retailers.
Food and drink sales make up 46 per cent of all core retail sales in New Zealand, and we work across the retail sector on issues around health, safety, quality, and transparency. We work closely with government agencies, including the Ministry for Primary Industries, the Ministry of Health and the Health Promotion Agency, and directly with Ministers to achieve better outcomes for retailers and consumers.
We’re working on a number of the key issues for food and drink retailers, including:
- Reducing Childhood Obesity Pledge
- Alcohol Regulation – sensible policies that reduce harm
- Country of Origin Labelling on single ingredient products
